WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A Mechanical Engineer?
As a Mechanical Engineer, you take the lead in the mechanical design and development of innovative process installations. Working closely with the project team, you transform a 3D concept into a fully realized installation, which you will see come to life in Hengelo.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to bring installations to life.
- Design mechanical components and systems for process installations.
- Select and specify appropriate materials for installation components.
- Provide comprehensive drawing packages for assembly and suppliers.
- Contribute to the standardization of complex systems.

YOUR PROFILE
You work independently and, when necessary, foster collaboration across different disciplines within the Engineering department. You are driven to stay up-to-date with the necessary competencies, knowledge, skills, and experience, ensuring you perform your role as effectively and efficiently as possible, contributing to the team’s success.
- At least HBO-level education (work and thinking level), acquired through formal education or relevant experience.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
- A true passion for technology, combined with high energy and focus.
- Experience with 3D design software (e.g., SolidWorks).
- Experience with PLM systems is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English, due to our international customer base and colleagues.
