WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A Software Engineer
As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain control software for process installations in the food industry. You’ll create and optimize software for systems that you can see come to life, ensuring flawless performance. Using your expertise, you’ll collaborate with the team to develop innovative solutions that prepare control software for the factory of the future.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced control software for various process installations.
- Work closely with colleagues and customers to successfully execute projects from design through to delivery.
- Actively contribute to the vision for control software and support the professional development of the team.
- Analyze user and system needs, translating them into clear functional and technical specifications
- Test, debug, and optimize software, striving for high quality and ensuring customer satisfaction.

ABOUT YOU
You are capable of working independently, while also seeking collaboration across different disciplines within the organization when needed. You have a natural drive to stay up to date with the necessary competencies, knowledge, skills, and experience to perform your role as effectively and efficiently as possible, all while contributing to the success of the team.
- HBO or university-level education, acquired through formal education or relevant experience, preferably in a technical field such as Software Engineering, Industrial Automation, or Electrical Engineering
- Experience with Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley systems is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
- At least 4 years of relevant work experience (intermediate/senior level).
- A passion for technology, coupled with high energy and focus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English, due to our international customer base and colleagues.
