PLC Software Engineer.

What will you do as a PLC Software Engineer?
As a PLC Software Engineer, you will work on designing, developing, and maintaining control software for process plants within the food industry. You will work closely with colleagues and learn how to develop software that you actually see come to life in our installations.
You will be given the opportunity to develop yourself, show initiative, and take on more responsibility within projects step by step.
Tasks and responsibilities
- You design, develop, and test PLC software (for example Siemens TIA Portal or Allen-Bradley Studio 5000).
- You work together with colleagues and assist in the realization of projects.
- You translate customer requirements and process descriptions into technical automation solutions.
- You test, debug, and optimize software in the workshop and sometimes on location.
- You provide remote support to Commissioning Engineers.
- You continuously learn and develop yourself within the field of industrial automation.

ABOUT YOU
You are a driven software engineer who wants to further develop yourself within industrial automation. You enjoy collaborating, are curious, and pick up new things quickly.
To be successful in this role, you bring the following experience:
- HBO working and thinking level in a technical field.
- Experience or affinity with PLC/automation (Siemens/Allen-Bradley is a plus).
- Knowledge and experience with relevant standards or interest in developing this (e.g. ANSI/ISA-88, ISO 27001 and the Machinery Regulation).
- 0–4 years of relevant work experience.
- Good analytical skills.
- Eager to learn and proactive.
- Good communication skills.
- Dutch and English language proficiency.
